CPR-a-Thon is a QFA-run awareness campaign aimed to teach CPR and its importance in life-threatening scenarios. A booth is set up in the ARC, and we teach passers-by the basics of recognizing when to call 911 and administer CPR for someone who is not breathing. Each year, those who take part are entered in a raffle draw to win a prize. In the past prizes have included an apple watch, a google home mini, and a UE boom!
As well, we offer standard first aid and CPR courses to both the Queen's and Kingston community in collaboration with St. John Ambulance. Students receive discounts when signing up for these courses. Check out the courses section of this website or contact us directly for more information.
